Hungary's political criticism intensifies as comedian Aranyosi and MP Kéri voice concerns

Comedian Aranyosi Péter warned that the current political climate in Hungary is marked by a clash between a declining great power and an emerging one, and said his role is to expose power abuse with humor grounded in factual events. He described personal attacks against him and the need to limit jokes to verifiable matters.

Member of parliament Kéri László criticised the Rogán faction, arguing that its inner circle is the most vulnerable target for accountability. He highlighted recent legal and administrative moves to replace public officials appointed by the ruling party and called for transparent, rule‑of‑law‑based procedures.

Both figures reflect growing public debate over the government's influence over state institutions and the use of humor and parliamentary oversight as tools to challenge authority.
