Hunger Games film marathon cinema re-release Suzanne Collins Panem

The Hunger Games film franchise is returning to Brazilian cinemas for special screenings ahead of the release of a new installment.

Cine Araújo is hosting a marathon from October 15 to 19, 2026, featuring the five existing films in their original release order. This event serves as a lead-up to the premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Dawn in the Harvest’, scheduled for release in Brazil on November 19. The new film, based on the works of Suzanne Collins, explores the story of a young Haymitch Abernathy during the 50th Hunger Games.

Additionally, Cine Show Petrópolis has included the saga in its weekly programming from October 15 to 21. Other films currently showing at the venue include ‘Street Fighter’, ‘Verity’, and a re-release of ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’.
