Huétor Tájar raises nearly 6,000 euros for charity via giant paella
The municipality of Huétor Tájar in Granada raised nearly 6,000 euros during its traditional solidarity pilgrimage in honor of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno. The event combined local tradition with social commitment, drawing thousands of participants.
The fundraising effort centered on a giant community paella held at the municipal pavilion, where portions and drinks were sold at a symbolic price of one euro each. All proceeds are designated for Cáritas Parroquiales to support local families in vulnerable situations. The day included a parade of decorated floats and live music to encourage community engagement.
