Huétor Tájar to host charity gala for childhood cancer association

Huétor Tájar will host a charity gala on October 2 to present the funds raised by the ‘Las Sociales Caminando por la Vida’ project. The initiative was organized by five community social services professionals who walked the Camino de Santiago, from Ría de Muros y Noia to Santiago de Compostela, to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

The proceeds from the trek will be donated to AUPA (Asociación de Padres y Madres de Niños Oncológicos de Granada) to support programs for children with cancer and their families. The event, held at the Casa de la Cultura, coincides with World Smile Day.
