Hyatt expands luxury hotel portfolio across the Americas

Hyatt is executing a significant expansion of its luxury hotel portfolio across the Americas, with a particular focus on Mexico. The company is set to conclude 2026 with several new openings in Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and the United States.

In Mexico, Park Hyatt has expanded with the opening of Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol and is planning the debut of Park Hyatt Riviera Maya by the end of 2026, which will serve as the brand’s first all-inclusive property. Additionally, Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco is scheduled to open in spring 2027. The Alila brand is also growing, highlighted by the opening of Alila Mayakoba in the Riviera Maya.

The Grand Hyatt brand will see growth in the final quarter of 2026 with three major resort openings: Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa, Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort, and Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa. Furthermore, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is expanding with the addition of The Clayfield in Ontario, Canada, and the upcoming transition of Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets into the collection.
