HYBE launches new K‑pop girl group TUIDE under ABD label
South Korean entertainment company HYBE announced its newest seven‑member girl group, TUIDE, slated to debut in the second half of 2026. The group was introduced on July 20 alongside the opening of official Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and X accounts. Production will be overseen by veteran producer Han Sung‑Soo, founder of PLEDES Entertainment, while the ABD label – short for “A Bold Dream” – will manage the act.
ABD, HYBE’s dedicated girl‑group label launched in May, aims to broaden K‑pop’s global reach. HYBE has already held nationwide auditions in India, partnered with Universal Music Group’s Geffen Records for projects in Japan, and maintains a U.S.‑based group, KATSEYE. Reactions to TUIDE’s debut have been mixed online, with some fans expressing excitement and others questioning HYBE’s strategy and originality.
The rollout reflects HYBE’s multi‑label strategy to diversify its artist roster and expand into new markets as K‑pop continues its worldwide growth.
