Across the state of Telangana, 73,084 candidates registered for NEET‑UG 2026, 65,121 appeared and 38,026 qualified. In the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, 1,137 students sat the exam, 333 scoring above 300 marks, including three who crossed 500. The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society reported 95 qualifiers and anticipates around 64 admissions to professional courses, including 44 MBBS seats. Notable state toppers include Bura Sai Sharan (AIR 19) and Veerayyagari Sahyu (AIR 13), both aiming to study at AIIMS New Delhi.
