HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate revealed with new gameplay and 2027 release window

Acclaim and Mexican developer Wabisabi Games have revealed new gameplay footage for HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate during The MIX: Fall Online Showcase. The arcade-style snowboarding title is scheduled for release in 2027 on PC via Steam and various consoles.

The new trailer showcases diverse environments that move beyond traditional snowy stations, including active volcanoes and ice caves. The game features a stylized, fantastical roster of playable characters, ranging from anime-inspired riders to a giant kaiju and a living taco.

Designed as a tribute to extreme sports games from the late 1990s and early 2000s, the title includes three primary modes: Challenge, which focuses on objective-based scoring; Race, which features competition against AI or other players using tricks to build a boost gauge; and Chill, an endless exploration mode. The game will support up to eight players online and four players via local split-screen.
