HYROX fitness competition expands with events in Tenerife and Acapulco

The international fitness competition HYROX is expanding its global presence with major events in Tenerife and Acapulco.

In Tenerife, Spain, the competition is being held at the Recinto Ferial de Santa Cruz from September 4 to September 6. The event features approximately 10,000 athletes from over 100 nationalities, including 3,000 local participants. The format consists of an eight-kilometer run divided into one-kilometer segments, each followed by a functional exercise station such as SkiErg, sled push, rowing, and wall balls.

In Acapulco, Mexico, the second edition of HYROX is scheduled for September 4 to September 6, 2026, at the Expo Mundo Imperial. This edition has expanded to three days to accommodate a large number of participants, including thousands in the Open and Doubles categories, as well as specialized Pro categories.
