Hyundai expands EV lineup with Ioniq 3 and IONIQ 6 N

Hyundai is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Ioniq 3, a compact hatchback designed to bridge the gap between the Inster and the Kona Electric. The Ioniq 3 features a 400-volt system with battery options of 42 kWh or 61 kWh, offering ranges between 344 and 497 kilometers. Pricing for the new model is expected to start at approximately 28,950 euros. The vehicle is produced at Hyundai’s Izmit plant in Turkey and utilizes the E-GMP platform.

In the high-performance segment, Hyundai has also highlighted the IONIQ 6 N. This electric sedan is engineered for track performance, delivering up to 650 CV when using the N Grin Boost function. It features advanced technologies such as N e-Shift, which simulates gear changes, and N Active Sound+ to enhance driver engagement through artificial acoustic feedback.
