Hyundai Elantra N TCR wins TCR World Tour Round 7 in China

Hyundai Motor Company announced that the ‘The New Elantra N TCR’ (known in Korea as the ‘The New Avante N TCR’) secured victories at the 7th round of the 2026 TCR World Tour. The event took place from October 23 to 25 at the Zhejiang Circuit in Zhejiang Province, China.

Driving for the ‘BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse’ team, Mikel Azcona took first place in both the first final race on October 24 and the third final race on October 25. These wins, combined with points from qualifying and the second race, brought his total to 72 points for the round, allowing him to maintain his position as the first-ranked driver in the 2026 season.

Teammate Norbert Michelisz secured second place in all three final races, earning 90 points for the round and moving into second place in the driver standings. The team currently holds second place in the overall team championship with 863 points. The TCR World Tour season will conclude with the 8th round in Macau from November 19 to 22.
