2026 Inje World Touring Car Festival and TCR World Tour

Overview

Hyundai Motor Company and Inje County co-hosted the 2026 Inje World Touring Car Festival at Inje Speedium on October 3–4. The event featured the Hyundai N Festival, the FIA TCR World Tour, and the TCR Asia. The Hyundai N Festival included three classes: Gran Turismo eN1, Kumho N1, and Nexen N2.

During the TCR World Tour round in South Korea, Hyundai’s ‘The New Elantra N TCR’ achieved victory for the second consecutive year at the Korean round. Driver Michel Azcona, competing for the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team, secured first place in both the first and third final races. These results allowed Azcona to maintain his position as the first-place driver in the overall 2026 season standings, while teammate Norbert Michelisz moved into second place in the driver rankings.

Following the South Korean event, the TCR World Tour moved to the Zhejiang Circuit in China for its seventh round from October 23 to 25. Michel Azcona secured first place in the first final race on October 24 and the third final race on October 25. These wins brought his round total to 72 points, maintaining his first-place ranking in the season. Teammate Norbert Michelisz secured second place in all three final races, earning 90 points for the round and moving into second place in the driver standings. The BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team currently holds second place in the overall team championship with 863 points. The season is scheduled to conclude with the eighth round in Macau from November 19 to 22.
