Hyundai Motor has introduced the IONIQ 9 electric SUV for the 2027 model year, adding a range of new equipment as standard. The vehicle uses Hyundai’s 800‑volt E‑GMP platform with a 110.3 kWh battery that delivers up to 620 km of WLTP range, 303 hp (603 Nm) of power, all‑wheel drive and Vehicle‑to‑Load capability.

For 2027 the previously optional technology package becomes standard, bringing a 360 ° camera, front‑, side‑ and rear‑parking sensors, a remote parking assistant and a digital key. The trim line “Centriq” replaces the former “Techniq” level and adds heated seats for the third row. A premium “Blackline” version, priced at €89,950, features a 315 kW (428 hp) drivetrain, black design accents, black alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof. Base versions start at €70,850.

Hyundai selected Uruguay as the regional launch site for the IONIQ 9, highlighting the model’s global rollout. The SUV offers three rows of seating for up to seven passengers, a 908‑liter cargo capacity with the rear seats folded, and interior comforts such as heated seats, a relaxation‑mode recline and digital rear‑view mirrors.
