Hyundai i20 reaches 15‑lakh sales milestone as Maruti Suzuki launches Brezza facelift
Hyundai announced that its premium hatchback i20 has crossed the 15‑lakh unit sales mark in the Indian market, reinforcing its strong position in the premium hatchback segment. The model is priced at ₹5,99,700 and is highlighted for its sporty design, premium features, safety equipment, reliable engine, and fuel efficiency.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the 2026 Brezza facelift, priced at roughly ₹7.40 lakh ex‑showroom. The refreshed SUV competes directly with Tata Motors' Nexon, which starts at ₹7.37 lakh and tops out at ₹14.22 lakh. The Brezza facelift offers a 1.5‑litre petrol engine, a 1.0‑litre turbo‑petrol unit, and a CNG option, while the Nexon provides a 1.2‑litre turbo‑petrol, a 1.5‑litre diesel, and CNG choices, along with a broader transmission lineup. Both models feature modern infotainment touchscreens, ventilated seats, 360‑degree cameras and multiple airbags.
