Hyundai launches 4th Academy Center vocational program in Bekasi
PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) has launched the fourth generation of its Hyundai Academy Center (HAC) program. The initiative provides intensive three-month vocational training to 30 students selected from six vocational high schools (SMK) in the Bekasi Regency, West Java.
The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between vocational education and modern automotive industry requirements. Training covers conventional engine technology, electrical systems, and fundamental knowledge of battery electric vehicles (BEV). The program utilizes a hands-on approach, allowing students to interact directly with current vehicle technologies and manufacturer-standard facilities.
In collaboration with the West Java Provincial Education Office, HMMI has also donated nine training vehicles to various vocational schools in the province to support practical learning. Additionally, the program includes specialized training for educators to ensure teaching methods remain aligned with evolving industry standards.
