Hyundai launches AllDayEnergy V2X services
Hyundai Motor Group has introduced AllDayEnergy, a new brand encompassing its Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) services. The platform aims to transform electric vehicles into mobile energy storage units capable of bidirectional energy transfer.
The service suite includes V1G smart charging, which optimizes charging times based on electricity prices and grid conditions; V2H (Vehicle-to-Home), allowing vehicles to power household appliances during outages; and V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid), enabling users to send stored energy back to the electrical grid.
Hyundai plans to launch these services via the Kia application by the end of the year, with a rollout expected in Europe and other global markets. According to Woong Tae Hwang, Vice President of VE Energy Strategy Group, the initiative is a step toward establishing the company as an intelligent energy service provider.
