Hyundai launches high-performance Ioniq 6 N in France
Hyundai is reintroducing the Ioniq 6 electric sedan to the French market, specifically through the high-performance Ioniq 6 N variant. Following the low sales of the standard model in France, the manufacturer has opted to focus on this top-tier version, priced at €79,000.
The Ioniq 6 N features dual electric motors providing a combined output of 609 hp, which can be boosted to 650 hp and 770 Nm of torque via the ‘N Grin Boost’ mode. It achieves 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 257 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with an 84 kWh battery offering an estimated 487 km range under the WLTP cycle and supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes.
Designed for both road and track use, the model includes specialized thermal management and pilot-controlled suspensions. To mimic the experience of a combustion engine, Hyundai has implemented ‘e-Shift’ technology to simulate gear changes and ‘Active Sound+’ to provide artificial engine noise.
