Hyundai launches high‑performance Ioniq 6 N in Spain and unveils Ioniq V for China
Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 6 N in Spain, a 650 hp electric sedan equipped with dual motors delivering up to 478 kW, an 84 kWh battery that can charge from 10 % to 80 % in 18 minutes, and an official WLTP range of 487 km. The model features an active electronic suspension, a rear aero‑wing, and a special “e‑Shift” mode that mimics race‑car gear changes. Priced below €66,000, Hyundai expects to sell about a dozen units in Spain during the year.
Separately, Hyundai announced the Ioniq V for the Chinese market, positioning it as a flagship EV to reverse the brand’s slide in China where its market share is around 0.4 %. The sedan adopts a single‑curve “The Origin” design, a 27‑inch 4K infotainment screen, and Level‑2+ driver‑assist technology from Momenta. It will be offered with 190 hp (140 kW) or 228 hp (168 kW) powertrains on an 800‑volt platform, supporting ultra‑fast charging and using CATL battery cells. Hyundai claims a CLTC range exceeding 600 km. The Ioniq V is intended solely for China, with no plans for European sales.
