Hyundai launches Ioniq 6 N performance model in France
Hyundai has announced the return of the Ioniq 6 to the French market, specifically in its high-performance N version. Following the discontinuation of standard models in France during the summer of 2025, the company is pivoting to a sport-focused offering.
The Ioniq 6 N features an all-wheel-drive system and delivers up to 650 horsepower via its ‘N Grin Boost’ function, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The vehicle is expected to be priced around 79,000 euros, similar to the Ioniq 5 N, and includes premium features such as a 360-degree camera, head-up display, and ventilated seats.
In performance testing, Austrian rally champion Simon Wagner noted the vehicle’s direct steering and impressive power, despite its nearly five-meter length. The model has also been recognized as the ‘World Performance Car 2026’, marking the fifth consecutive year Hyundai has received honors at the World Car Awards.
