Hyundai launches IONIQ V electric fastback in China
Beijing Hyundai has officially launched the IONIQ V, an electric fastback developed in China, with prices starting as low as 99,900 yuan (approximately €12,000) due to temporary launch discounts. The standard list price begins at 109,900 yuan.
Built on the E-GMP architecture, the IONIQ V features an 800-volt electrical system. It is available with two CATL-supplied lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options: a 53.5 kWh pack providing up to 540 km of range (CLTC), and a 66.8 kWh pack offering up to 650 km of range (CLTC).
The vehicle includes high-tech interior features such as a 27-inch 4K display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, driver-assistance technology from Momenta, and AI services integrated from Baidu and ByteDance.
