Hyundai launches Kona Dark Line trim for Italian market

Hyundai Motor Company has introduced the Kona Dark Line, a new trim for its compact Kona SUV, aimed at the Italian market. The Dark Line version offers a distinctive appearance with a black roof, black‑finished exterior elements, 18‑inch black alloy wheels and special front‑grille inserts, together with a Dark Line badge on the body panels.

Inside, the trim adds dedicated upholstery, electric lumbar support for the driver, dual‑zone automatic climate control, a rain sensor and an electrochromic rear‑view mirror. Technology includes a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Hyundai Bluelink, OTA updates and wireless smartphone charging. Safety features are provided by the Hyundai SmartSense suite, which bundles lane‑keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle detection, driver‑fatigue monitoring and speed‑limit recognition.

Two powertrains are offered: a 1.0 T‑GDI gasoline engine of 115 hp and a Full‑Hybrid of 138 hp. Prices start at €27,950 for the gasoline version and €33,550 for the hybrid.
