Hyundai launches new Ioniq 3 EV and refreshes Ioniq 6 sedan

Hyundai expanded its all‑electric Ioniq range with the Ioniq 3, a compact hatch built on a shortened E‑GMP platform. The model measures 4.155 m long, 1.80 m wide and 1.505 m high, and offers two battery packs: a 42.2 kWh unit delivering about 344 km of WLTP range and a 61 kWh unit delivering roughly 496 km. Fast charging restores 10‑80 % in 29–30 minutes, and the car’s aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.263.

The company also unveiled a restyled Ioniq 6 sedan. The facelift adds a new front design, a sport‑focused N Line trim with a duck‑tail spoiler, and interior updates such as dual 12.3‑inch screens and softer‑touch materials. Powertrain options include a 63 kWh battery with a 170 hp motor (up to 521 km WLTP), and an 84 kWh battery offered in rear‑wheel‑drive (229 hp, up to 680 km) or all‑wheel‑drive (325 hp, up to 650 km).
