Hyundai launches updated Ioniq 5 Model Year 2027 in Italy

Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 5 Model Year 2027 to the Italian market, expanding its award‑winning electric crossover with a refreshed trim structure and added technology. The new range is organised into three levels – XTech, Business and XClass – mirroring Hyundai’s naming on other models.

Two battery capacities are offered: a 63 kWh pack paired with a 170 hp rear‑wheel‑drive unit, and an 84 kWh pack that can be combined with either a 228 hp rear‑wheel‑drive or a 325 hp all‑wheel‑drive system. Prices start at €42,800 for the entry XTech version and reach €58,900 for the top‑spec XClass AWD model.

Technological upgrades include an In‑Cabin Camera that monitors driver attention, a next‑generation eCall emergency‑call system with 5G connectivity, and expanded Hyundai SmartSense driver‑assist functions such as lane‑keeping, adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. The Ioniq 5 continues to use Hyundai’s 800‑volt architecture for ultra‑fast charging.
