Hyundai opens bookings for Bayon SUV in India

Hyundai Motor India has opened bookings for the upcoming Hyundai Bayon, a 4.2-metre crossover SUV. Customers can reserve the vehicle for a token amount of ₹11,000 through the company’s official website or via authorized dealerships.

Positioned between the Venue and the Creta in Hyundai’s lineup, the Bayon is expected to launch during the 2026 festive season. While official pricing and delivery schedules have not been released, the vehicle is expected to feature a petrol powertrain with manual and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) or CVT options. Some reports suggest the engine may be a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit.

The interior is anticipated to include a curved dual-screen layout with two 12.3-inch displays, a vertical AC control panel, and a generative AI voice assistant. Exterior design elements include H-Edge LED daytime running lights, geometric wheel arches, and bridge-type roof rails.
