Hyundai rolls out Ioniq 3 for Europe and showcases Ioniq 6 performance

Hyundai has unveiled the production‑ready Ioniq 3 for the European market. The standard hatchback, derived from last year’s Concept Three, features a more subdued front design than the earlier N‑Line version and will be built in Turkey to shorten delivery times. Two power outputs are offered – 135 hp and 147 hp – both with a front‑motor layout and 250 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose a 42.2 kWh battery delivering an estimated 344 km range or a 61 kWh pack extending the range to about 496 km. Sales are slated to begin before the end of the year, with pricing to be announced shortly before showroom arrivals.

In a separate review, the Ioniq 6 sedan was tested in its RWD 77.4 kWh Ultimate trim. The model shares its platform with the Ioniq 5 but offers a longer body, a spacious cabin with generous rear‑legroom, and a range of premium interior touches such as AI‑based assistance, dual‑screen instrument and infotainment displays, and adjustable rear seats. The test highlighted the vehicle’s refined ride, large 401‑liter trunk, and upscale equipment, positioning the Ioniq 6 as a business‑oriented electric sedan.
