Hyundai prepares global launch of Bayon B-SUV

Hyundai is preparing for the global debut of the Bayon, a new B-SUV expected to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. The vehicle is designed to bridge the gap between the Venue and the Creta models.

In India, Hyundai has already opened pre-bookings for the Bayon. The Indian version is expected to feature a boxier crossover stance inspired by the Tucson, a split-headlamp setup, and may offer a factory-fitted CNG kit.

In Latin America, the Bayon will mark a significant shift in production strategy, as it is slated to be manufactured at the Piracicaba plant in Brazil starting in 2027. This production move coincides with the phase-out of existing models, including the HB20S sedan and the potential end of the HB20 hatchback production, as Hyundai reconfigures its regional lineup to prioritize SUVs.
