Hyundai to debut new Bayon SUV at Paris Motor Show and launch in India

Hyundai is preparing a major product offensive, highlighted by the global debut of the new Bayon SUV at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The company plans to unveil a B-segment SUV and a C-segment SUV for the European market, alongside its first all-electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) aimed at professional fleets.

In India, Hyundai has officially opened bookings for the Bayon, a 4.2-meter crossover positioned between the Venue and the Creta. The Indian model is expected to feature a 1.5-litre petrol engine with manual or CVT options, and potentially a CNG powertrain. Key technological highlights for the Indian variant include a generative AI voice assistant, a dual 12.3-inch digital cockpit, and a focus on safety via the Global K Enhanced Platform.

The Bayon's design features H-Edge LED lighting, a sculpted bonnet, and a more robust SUV silhouette compared to previous iterations. The vehicle is expected to launch in India during the upcoming festive season, with estimated pricing ranging from ₹8 lakh to ₹14 lakh.
