Hyundai unveils new design for Bayon B-SUV

Hyundai has released official design details for the next generation of its Bayon B-SUV. The new model features a more rugged, angular design language described as ‘Art of Steel,’ moving away from its previous hatchback-based silhouette toward a more traditional SUV appearance.

Key technical and production details include:

- Design: The vehicle will feature L-shaped daytime running lights, muscular fenders, and a higher roofline. The interior is expected to follow the architecture of the new i20, potentially including dual 12.3-inch digital screens for the instrument cluster and multimedia system.

- Production and Markets: The model is significant for global markets, with production occurring in İzmit, Turkey, for export to Europe, and in Piracicaba, Brazil, for the South American market. The Brazilian launch is anticipated for 2027.

- Powertrain: Expected options include gasoline and mild hybrid (MHEV) engines. In Brazil, the model is expected to utilize a 1.0 turbo engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
