Hyundai wins 2026 TCR World Tour round in South Korea

Hyundai Motor Company’s ‘The New Elantra N TCR’ secured a victory at the 2026 TCR World Tour round held at Inje Speedium in South Korea, marking the second consecutive year of winning the Korean round.

Driving for the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team, Michel Azcona took first place in both the first and third final races. With a total of 89 points earned during this round, Azcona maintains his position as the first-place driver in the 2026 season overall standings. Teammate Norbert Michelisz secured two third-place finishes, earning 70 points and moving up to second place in the season driver rankings.

The BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse team remains in second place in the overall team standings with 583 points. The TCR World Tour is a premier customer racing series where professional teams compete using vehicles purchased from manufacturers. The sixth round of the tour is scheduled to take place in Chengdu, China, from October 16 to 18.
