Đại Ninh Pass subsidence threatens National Highway 28B safety

Severe land subsidence is spreading across the Đại Ninh Pass on National Highway 28B in Lâm Đồng Province, threatening traffic safety. The damage, located near Phan Sơn Commune, has caused the road surface to sink and crack, affecting a stretch of more than 50 meters. Large fissures have also appeared on the adjacent slopes, increasing the risk of further landslides.

Heavy rainfall is cited as the primary cause of the erosion and roadbed instability. Authorities have installed barriers, warning signs, and traffic diversion measures to manage the risk. The Vietnam Road Project Management Board is coordinating with the Department of Roads and design consultants to survey the site and determine appropriate repair methods.
