Ian Machado Garry slammed for poor promotion ahead of UFC 330 title fight

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub criticized welterweight contender Ian Machado Garry’s media appearances on his podcast, calling them the worst interviews in the sport and saying Garry’s public‑relations efforts are “turning everybody off.” Schaub likened the situation to the “shut up and dribble” comment once made about LeBron James, urging Garry to “shut up and fight.”

In a separate interview, Schaub also attacked Garry’s recent remarks about family and gender roles, claiming the Irish fighter appears overly influenced by his girlfriend and that his polarising statements are damaging his reputation ahead of the UFC 330 welterweight title bout against Islam Makhachev.
