Iberdrola celebrates 125th anniversary with free Bilbao festival attended by 40,000
Around 40,000 people gathered in Bilbao's Doña Casilda park for a free, six‑hour music festival marking Iberdrola's 125th anniversary. The lineup included performances by Juanes, Antonio Orozco, Rigoberta Bandini and Süne, with the opening set by Iberdrola's Electric Band. The event featured a 1,500‑drone light show powered by renewable energy, the largest of its kind in Spain, and provided information points, food, medical aid and accessible facilities.
The celebration is part of Iberdrola's "125 años luz" program, which will continue with concerts in Madrid on 27 June featuring Lenny Kravitz, Manuel Carrasco, Ana Mena and Álvaro de Luna, and in Valencia on 28 November with Estopa and Mafalda Cardenal.
