Iberia launches November direct flight to Salerno, Italy
Iberia announced a special daily service between Madrid and Salerno for the entire month of November 2026, offering roughly 10,800 seats. The route will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft and is part of the airline’s Flight Plan 2030, aimed at strengthening Madrid’s hub role. “La rotta sarà operata con aeromobili Airbus A320,” said Victor Moneo, Iberia’s Global Sales Director. The addition brings Iberia’s network in Italy to twelve cities, reinforcing its position in a market where it already serves Bologna, Florence, Milan, Naples, Rome, Turin and Venice, with seasonal links to other southern destinations. Iberia also expects to provide over 2.85 million seats between Spain and Italy in 2026, a 1.8 % rise from the previous year.
