Ibex 35 climbs as US‑Iran conflict fuels oil and market volatility

European equity markets have been volatile amid renewed fighting between the United States and Iran. The Spanish benchmark Ibex 35 rose about 1.1 % to retake the 19,300‑point level as oil prices eased to roughly $76‑78 per barrel, calming inflation concerns. The rally followed comments from President Donald Trump that the cease‑fire with Iran was over, prompting fresh air‑strike warnings and attacks on U.S. bases in the region. At the same time, Bitcoin and Ethereum fell modestly, with the leading cryptocurrencies slipping a few percent after the escalation, though both remained above $60 000 and $1 700 respectively. Other market moves included a 3 % gain for SK Hynix’s U.S. ADR launch, a modest dip in German and French inflation rates, and mixed performances across Europe’s major indices. Investors continued to watch oil‑related risk premium, geopolitical developments and central‑bank policy as the key drivers of market direction.
