IBGE releases preliminary answer keys for selection process

The preliminary answer keys for the IBGE selection process have been released. More than 89,000 candidates participated in the exams held on August 30 for 1,414 temporary positions, including Quality Census Agent and Census Analyst.

Candidates can contest the preliminary results through the Instituto Avalia website. The period for submitting appeals is open from 12:00 AM on September 1 until 11:59 PM on September 2. Appeals must be substantiated and include the bibliography used, with only one appeal permitted per question.

The selected professionals will support various census activities, including the Agricultural, Forestry, and Aquaculture Censuses, as well as the new Census of the Homeless Population. Salaries for these roles reach up to R$ 5,255.40, plus benefits such as food and transport allowances. The preliminary results for the objective exams are expected to be released on September 16.
