Ibrahim Kelmendi alleges Riza Salihu ordered Jusuf Gërvalla's assassination

Activist Ibrahim Kelmendi has provided new claims regarding the history of Albanian political organizations and the deaths of Jusuf and Bardhosh Gërvalla and Kadri Zeka. During an appearance on TV Dukagjini, Kelmendi stated that the merger of OMLK, LNÇKVSHJ, and the FKP occurred on January 17, 1982, despite conflicting dates found in other documents and reports.

Kelmendi further alleged that Riza Salihu ordered the assassination of Jusuf Gërvalla. According to Kelmendi, Salihu instructed Hysen Gega, acting in the name of the Communist Group, to kill Gërvalla under the pretext that he was a spy for the UDB. Kelmendi noted that while Gërvalla was informed of the order and attempted to resolve the matter through a confrontation, Salihu continued to label the Gërvalla brothers as informants.
