Ibrahima Camara receives six-month ban for assault in Szczecin
The Ekstraklasa League Commission has issued a six-month disqualification to Radomiak Radom player Ibrahima Camara following a violent incident during a match against Pogoń Szczecin. The ban, which carries immediate enforceability across all competitions organized in Poland, includes a fine of 50,000 PLN.
The incident occurred in the 89th minute of the match. After receiving a red card for kicking Alessandro Riccio, Camara entered the stadium tunnel but returned to the pitch to strike Pogoń Szczecin player Darko Czurlinow in the head.
In addition to the player's sanction, the Commission addressed the conduct of Pogoń Vice President Tan Kesler. While his actions were not deemed escalating, he was fined 10,000 PLN for unauthorized presence in the pitch and technical zones during the game.
