ICAR announces Young Professional II recruitment for research roles

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has announced recruitment for Young Professional II positions at two of its institutes.

ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) in Chennai is seeking a candidate for a 24-month project involving integrated automated bio-floc and recycling systems for indoor crustacean farming. The role requires a postgraduate degree in M.F.Sc, M.Sc in Aquaculture, Industrial Fisheries, Bioinformatics, or Biotechnology, with at least two years of relevant research experience. The monthly salary is ₹42,000, and the application deadline is 17 September 2026.

Separately, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has announced one vacancy for a Young Professional II. This position is geared toward candidates with backgrounds in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields. Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years old and possess either a relevant graduate degree with one year of experience or a Master's degree in a specialized computing field. The monthly salary is ₹42,000, with an application deadline of 20 September 2026.
