ICE accused of pepper-spraying two U.S. citizen teens in Texas

Two U.S. citizen teenagers are alleging they were pepper-sprayed and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Alamo, Texas. The incident occurred near Santos Livas Elementary School while the youths were reportedly on their way to submit paperwork to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.

According to reports, the teenagers stopped their vehicle to record an ICE operation involving the arrest of parents near the school. One of the teenagers, 17-year-old Luis Ochoa, claims he informed agents of his U.S. citizenship, but was still detained. Video footage circulating online appears to show federal agents using pepper spray and one teen being removed from a vehicle and struck while on the ground.

The two teenagers were reportedly held in custody for approximately eight hours before being released. While the footage shows portions of the confrontation, it does not clarify the immediate circumstances leading to the use of force, such as whether orders were issued or if the agents believed the teenagers were interfering with the operation.
