ICE agents reportedly attack Texas teenagers in Alamo

Two U.S. citizens, teenagers in Texas, were reportedly attacked by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents while on their way to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The incident occurred in Alamo, Texas, near Santos Livas Elementary School. The teenagers were allegedly filming ICE agents who were arresting parents in the area. According to reports from Telemundo, the agents pepper-sprayed, beat, and detained the two youths for nearly eight hours.

Video footage reportedly shows an agent pulling one teenager from a vehicle and punching him in the face while he was on the ground. One of the teenagers, identified as Luis Ochoa, stated that he informed agents of his citizenship, but was told, “I don’t give a damn. … Your parents can’t help you now.” Following the encounter, Ochoa expressed that he is reconsidering his decision to join the Marines.
