ICE deports Honduran MS‑13 gang member linked to Mexico’s Cartel del Noreste

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported Isaias Jose Rodriguez‑Manzanares, a Honduran national who is a member of the MS‑13 gang and an associate of Mexico’s Cartel del Noreste. Rodriguez‑Manzanares entered the United States by crossing the U.S.–Mexico border undetected and was first flagged after a January 2024 liquor‑violation arrest in Irving, Texas. He was later arrested in June 2025 in Colleyville, Texas, for manufacturing or distributing drugs and unlawful firearm possession, convicted of felony drug possession in December, and sentenced to two years in prison. Following his prison term, he was transferred to ICE custody in May 2026 and received a final deportation order from a federal immigration judge the previous month. ICE spokeswoman Lauren Bis said the removal “takes a criminal illegal alien, MS‑13 gang member and cartel associate, out of our country,” noting cooperation with Texas law‑enforcement agencies.
