ICETEX announces new international scholarships for Colombian women and foreign students

The Colombian public agency ICETEX has opened two separate international scholarship programmes. The first targets Colombian professional women aged 25‑45 with at least five years of experience in environmental, sustainability or circular‑economy fields. Selected candidates will attend a 14‑day training course on circular economy and inclusive growth in Hyderabad, India, from 17 to 30 September 2026. The scholarship covers airfare, accommodation, visa, study materials and a daily stipend. Applications are accepted through ICETEX’s internationalisation platform until 13 August 2026 and require a minimum GPA of 3.8, a B2 level of English and relevant professional experience.

The second programme is a reciprocal scholarship for foreign citizens to pursue postgraduate studies, specialisations, master’s degrees or Spanish‑language courses at Colombian universities. It provides full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend equivalent to two Colombian minimum wages, health‑insurance assistance and a courtesy visa. The application window runs from 1 May to 5 June 2026. Eligible applicants must be non‑Colombian, under 50 years old, hold a recognised undergraduate degree, have a GPA of at least 4.0 and be admitted to a Colombian programme.
