Planned electricity outages affect many addresses in Armenia on July 1
Armenia’s state-owned electric utility announced temporary power interruptions on 1 July to carry out planned maintenance work. The outages will affect numerous households and businesses in Yerevan’s Arabkir and Kanaker‑Zeytun districts, as well as locations in the provinces of Armavir, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Lori, Tavush and others. Specific streets and neighbourhoods are listed, with expected outage windows ranging from a few hours to half‑day periods. Residents are advised to follow safety instructions and can contact the utility’s hotline for any issues.
The announcement was repeated in a separate notice that highlighted the same schedule and locations, urging the public to observe electricity‑safety rules during the interruptions.
