IDF and Border Police arrest six in East Jerusalem; Gaza tunnel dismantled

In East Jerusalem, the Israel Defense Forces and Border Police conducted a counterterrorism operation that resulted in the arrest of six terror suspects and the seizure of more than 2,000 rounds of ammunition, along with weapons and explosives.

In southern Gaza, IDF troops located and dismantled an approximately 800-meter underground terror tunnel that contained living quarters, military equipment and weapons. Among items recovered were combat vests and a rocket attributed to Islamic Jihad, illustrating the breadth of the threat from militant groups in the region.
