Idom Consulting to manage Algeciras Port innovation office

The Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) has awarded a contract to Idom Consulting, Engineering, Architecture to manage its Technical Office for the Coordination of Innovation Activities. The contract, valued at 602,000 euros excluding VAT, has an initial duration of two years with the possibility of two one-year extensions.

The Technical Office will be responsible for coordinating the 'Travesía de la Innovación' program and maintaining the port's Innovation Management System. Key duties include fostering an innovative culture within the port community, managing open innovation programs, supporting digital transformation projects, and coordinating with startups, universities, and technology companies. The office will also oversee the revision of the port's innovation strategy and monitor performance indicators.
