Brazil's INEP publishes Enem 2026 specialized assistance outcomes
The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP) announced on 26 June the results of requests for specialized assistance for the 2026 National High School Exam (Enem). Candidates whose requests were approved will receive accommodations such as guide dogs, emotional‑support animals, or additional time of 60 minutes per day, provided the request was made at registration. The institute also set a window for appeals: applicants whose requests were denied may submit an administrative appeal from 29 June to 3 July, with the appeal results to be posted on 10 July.
The Enem exams are scheduled for 8 and 15 November 2026 across all 27 Brazilian states. The specialized assistance programme now covers people with physical, visual, auditory or intellectual disabilities, as well as conditions like anxiety disorders, obsessive‑compulsive disorder, gestational status, diabetes, senior age, and students in hospital care. Failure to provide accurate information may result in penalties, including disqualification from the exam.
