IF Elfsborg newcomer Viggo Elfström scores own goal on debut
Viggo Elfström experienced a difficult Allsvenskan debut for IF Elfsborg during a match against Brommapojkarna. After entering the game as a substitute for the injured Rasmus Wikström with four minutes remaining, the 19-year-old scored an own goal in the second minute of stoppage time, which decided the match.
Despite the outcome, Elfsborg coach Björn Hamberg expressed support for the newcomer, stating that Elfström is intended for both the short and long term and that the decision to give him minutes remains unchanged.
IF Elfsborg has a busy schedule for week 37, including upcoming matches for various age groups such as P17, P19, and F19, as well as the women’s Elitettan team and the senior men’s Allsvenskan side facing Kalmar FF at Borås Arena.
