iFixit has resumed sales of the replacement battery for the Steam Deck LCD handheld after a period of stockout. The price has risen sharply from $79.99 to $129.99, a 62 % increase, and the accompanying Fix Kit is now $134.99. Valve confirmed that iFixit remains an official parts partner, noting the price rise reflects the dollar price without adjustment for exchange rates.

The battery’s specifications are unchanged – 40 Wh capacity and 5,200 mAh. In Europe the same battery lists at €129.95, up from €79.99. A third‑party LCD battery is available for $79.99 in the U.S. but not shipped to Germany, while other aftermarket options on Amazon sell for around €60. The OLED‑variant battery remains at its original price of $79.99 (or €59.95).
