Žiga Šeško finishes as runner-up at junior tennis finals in Chengdu

Slovenian tennis player Žiga Šeško secured second place at the year-end tournament for the world's top eight junior players in Chengdu, China. In the final match, the 18-year-old from Hrastnik fell to American Jordan Lee with a score of 6-3, 7-5.

While Šeško had previously defeated Lee in the group stages in a three-set match, Lee regained momentum in the final, winning 81 percent of his first-serve points compared to Šeško's 64 percent. The victory for Lee served as a reversal of their earlier encounter.

This tournament marks Šeško's final appearance in junior competition. His successful junior career included a Grand Slam title at the Australian Open in Melbourne earlier this year.
