Chase and IHG refresh hotel credit card lineup

Chase and IHG Hotels & Resorts have launched a significant refresh of their IHG One Rewards credit card lineup, introducing a new premium tier and adjusting benefits for existing cards.

A new IHG One Rewards Premier Select card has debuted with a $350 annual fee. This high-tier card offers up to 60,000 points for anniversary free night certificates and provides easier access to confirmed suite upgrades and hotel lounge access through elite night credits.

Existing cards in the portfolio are also seeing changes. The IHG One Rewards Premier card's annual fee is increasing from $99 to $150, while its automatic status is being adjusted from Platinum to Gold. However, its anniversary free night certificate value is increasing from 40,000 to 50,000 points. The IHG One Rewards Business card is also seeing an annual fee increase from $99 to $200 and a name change.

For new cardholders, various welcome offers are available, including a 200,000-point offer on the new Premier Select card following a specific spending threshold. Existing cardholders will see most new benefits and earning rates immediately, though annual fee increases and certain elite night credits are scheduled to take effect in 2027.
